General Corlett Foundation New Today
Description: The site provides detail information about the XIX US Corps and its attached units such as Infantry and Tank Divisions, and numerous smaller US Army units during the years 1944 – 1945.  Several hundred pictures are now already placed (photographs advance XIX Corps troops, but also US Army vehicles and tanks) on the website. Monthly updates (new pages and pictures). 

No Greater Sacrifice, No Greater Love: A Son's Journey to Normandy 
Description: A website for this touching book written by our friend and associate, Walter Carter. Dr. Elmer N. Carter, Walter's dad, was a battalion surgeon in the 115th Regiment of the 29th Division. He was killed-in-action two weeks after D-Day, while administering first-aid to a wounded soldier. The touching story of Dr. Carter, his love for his family and Walter's journey to discover the father he never knew is one you will never forget. The American Sons of Normandy

Description: Very important information about the organization that is spearheading the effort to build the National D-Day Memorial.

VI Corps Combat Engineers WWII 
Description: Dedicated to my father, a 540th Combat Engineer and his fellow VI Corps Engineers (36th, 39th & 540th). The site features the history of these men, along with photos and personal histories. As the site expanded, it now includes not only the memoirs of the VI Corps units, but various WWII vets from all branches of service. We also have an active forum and are always looking for WWII vets and other interested parties.
